TOGAF Fundamentals

TOGAF is The Open Group Architecture Framework. It provides a structure for enterprise architecture practice and the Architecture Development Method, or ADM, for developing and governing architecture. Use it as a tailored method, not as a document template applied without a business problem. The ADM organizes architecture work around preparation, vision, business, information systems, technology, opportunities and solutions, migration planning, implementation governance, and change management. Requirements management connects the work across the cycle. Tailor the method to the enterprise, its delivery processes, risk, and scope. TOGAF addresses business, data, application, and technology domains. Architecture views make concerns visible to stakeholders. Governance keeps decisions, standards, exceptions, and implementation aligned with the approved direction.
